FREEDOM FROM SUFFERING

Our lives often seem to be full of suffering which shows up in many forms such as illness, hurt feelings, death of a loved one, betrayal, judgements, isolation, fear, loss- the list is endless.  So how do we learn to manage and step out of suffering?  In this class we will explore how to end suffering using Buddha's teaching of the Four Noble Truths.  These teachings offer a path to help better manage the suffering that we experience in this physical existence.

The Four Noble Truths are:

1. Suffering is part of the human condition.

2.Discover why we are suffering- cultivate courage to look deeply into suffering.

3.Suffering can be transformed.

4. The eightfold path to end suffering

DATE:  6 week class July 7 through August 11, 7:00 to 9:00pm .
